This time, I paid the £79 next-day delivery fee, only to find the desk and pedestal left on the footpath. The driver observed as three women struggled to carry the furniture up seven stairs into the office. Previously, deliveries were placed inside the doorway. When I contacted the company, the transport department showed no interest, stating it was noted as kerbside only in the confirmation email. If using a third party for next-day deliveries, they should ensure a service that justifies the £79 fee! Customer service was lacking.
