We hired a mini digger which was returned 04/08/25. Got a returns receipt from the 3rd party who actually supplied the digger. Wasn’t until later we found out it could take up to 21 days to refund our deposit. (£500 so not a small amount!) 4 weeks later still nothing, they said they were waiting for confirmation it had been returned OK. 6 weeks later and a number of ignored emails finally got the £500 back after saying I was going to the Small Claims Court.
