This has been an incredibly frustrating banking experience. After the company acquired my previous bank, they took over my accounts, which were originally set up for earning interest. Unfortunately, their interest rates were significantly lower, prompting me to move my funds elsewhere. Living in an area without a branch of this bank made it necessary for me to attempt to close my account via phone. After spending over an hour on hold, I decided to hang up. Each time I tried to resolve an issue over the phone, the process was excruciatingly slow. The final straw was discovering I had accumulated $65 in interest, but they provided no means to transfer those funds over the phone. Ultimately, I told them to keep the money and ended the call.
