I did the Makalu Base Camp 14 days with a small group of friends. Overall, I am very satisfied with all arrangements and services provided during this trip. The booking process was straightforward, without any communication problems whatsoever. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we met company's owner (who used to be a guide) to review the details of the trek, and we were given the opportunity to supplement out equipment by borrowing (free) or buying needed items. Our two guides were very friendly and helpful throughout the trip and knowledgeable about the details of each daily stage of the hike. I would definitely recommend Nepal Lion Tours to others who would consider a similar escapade.
