As mentioned in my update, I acknowledge that the issue has now been resolved and that the refund has been processed. However, this only happened after I posted my review; prior to that, it was extremely difficult to obtain adequate support or a clear resolution.
My review reflects the entirety of my experience, from start to finish, and not just the final outcome. For that reason, I believe it is fair and important to keep it as it is, so that other customers have a realistic understanding of the level of service they may receive.
The fact that I was offered a £20 voucher or 30% discount on a future purchase — something I would not consider after this experience — only reinforces how this situation was handled, the amount of time I had to spend trying to resolve it, and the lack of consideration shown towards customers and their rights. It is also important to note that this process began in November and was only concluded now.
I consider the matter closed, but my feedback remains as an honest account of what happened.
