As a long-time customer of Newbridge Silverware, I was very disappointed with the quality of the Glass Jug with Leaf handle I ordered online on 1st March 2026 and was delivered today 3rd March 2026. Upon opening the box, the item emitted a very strong, unpleasant odor. Additionally, the craftsmanship is not up to the usual standards; the interior metal is poorly polished and contains significant black staining.
Due to the poor condition and the foul scent emitting from the box , I emailed them and I am requesting a full refund.
I have attached photos on my email showing the defects . I also have a video recording of the item, but too large to attach to the email but I am happy to send it via a different method if required . I am awaiting for them to email me back on the process on how to return the item.
Also, there is no receipt printed inside the box which they normally do on all my previous orders online.
