I complained to Newcastle Building Society on 11 January about their failure to alert us to their concerns about the Family Trust Corporation - a concern that their "Money Manager" said he advised them to contact us about. They responded on 12 January saying "Thank you for your update and your email yesterday regarding Openwork’s response. I’ll investigate the point raised and respond back with my findings." Obviously, because they treat their members with contempt and do not take responsibility for their mistakes, I have heard nothing since. Response from Newcastle BS is to tell me to contact their complaints department - the department that didn't respond to my complaint! I have no intention of wasting my time again so have referred to financial ombudsman (whose sole purpose seems to be to misinterpret complaints in favour of the building societies). The building societies have no governance - they should not be trusted.
