Recently put my house up for sale with the Leicester Forest East branch. Initially service appeared very good, responses were quick and Zak and Thomas that came out were very friendly and appeared to know what they were talking about. The process of putting it up for sale was smooth. However after that there was very little communication. In 10 weeks, I had two viewings. Several viewings were cancelled and no attempt made to rearrange them. I am aware that the market is challenging at the moment but it felt like NF were passive and waiting for people to contact them rather than pushing the house as much as they could. Customer service when calling the office was poor and staff often appeared confused and unable to resolve issues themselves. Often they confused me with other vendors and therefore gave me false information (e.g rang me and told me I had 3 viewings when in fact they were for a different house). There was no check in with me at any point to review the approach or see if I wanted to drop the price. When I asked to end the contract, I was told this would be done after the two week notice period but the listing is still showing on Rightmove and no one has come out to remove the sign, preventing me from listing with a different estate agent.
