If I could give this diabolical company a big fat ZERO I would have done, they are honestly that bad!Our recent experience is with regards to the Grantham office.We decided to use Newton Fallowell because just 3 years ago we had used their Lincoln office to sell our previous property and their level of professionalism was out of the top draw of client service and detailed attention, however the Grantham office staff don't appear to know the first letter of the word professionalism as they were that BAD!We decided to put our property onto the market on the 1st August having totally ignored the advice of NF to place it on at a fixed price, instead we had it put on at a figure which was several thousand below what was being suggested to us, however the sale price was marked as "Offers Over".Immediately our property went up on Rightmove etc., quite literally the phone lines were hot and we had 5 viewings only 2 days later which resulted in several offers that same day, all being above the marked price.When we were advised of these offers on the 4th August, that was the last time we heard anything from Newton Fallowell for 9 long weeks despite calling them on many occasions they could not, would not give us any information or updates as to how the sale was progressing.We have since discovered they are a franchised organisation with the owners of the franchise being the Belvoir Property Group whom I have now written to, but have never received a reply.Had we used an on-line agent such as Purple Bricks we would have saved a very substantial amount of charges running into £000’s whilst receiving very arguably a far better serviceTake my advice, don't even consider using this company.
