Honestly the worst experience I have ever had with a law firm. Worked with them as they were linked to the auction house, and previous sales went well with their previous solicitors, Gordon Brown. Completely unresponsive to emails or questions, like genuinely just completely ignored. No phone calls, no and for some reason put in a condition of sale that depends on the title deed being updated (ergo Land Reg doing their admin) before it can complete rather than satisfaction the lender is removing their charge (as evidenced by lender). Now myself and buyer are waiting for Land Reg (backlog currently huge) before it can complete. Absolutely insane. Could be months. Never ever had a transaction like it. My other solicitors are equally as baffled. I will be logging a formal complaint with them and the ombudsman as this is having an huge impact is huge on my business and other developments.
