I live in a listen building and specified that a needed an employee not sub-contractor to carry out the works due to strict permissions on the upkeep of the building. A sub contractor attended and drilled into the 400 year old brick. Ruined the office walls and cabinet which fed from the RCDs in there and i had to request NICEIC certs for over a month or so after, NEXTGEN could not provide RAMS requested and also the PL insurance cert, Numerous promises to put the brick work right and they have still not corrected the damage and avoid calling back now. I am stuck with a hefty bill off the Building management company. I requested the NICEIC cert from the two men who apparently one was the head installer and was emailed a very amateur word doc. and when i asked him about it, and mentioned i deal with these certs in work he sped off in the van.
