Long story short, if you are reading this review ignore all the glowing reviews and focus on the 1 star reviews, better yet avoid Next insurance all together!!When I took out a 1 million dollar general liability policy April 5,2025 of this year, I only signed up for this policy and nothing else. Fast forward 4 months later I discovered on my credit card bill a $26 a month premium for tools coverage which I never signed up for nor did I approve of it. I have a $25 bucket, some squeegees, and a towel why would I insure that? After calling Next Insurance customer support, they gave me the complete run around and said unless I had printed the decorations page at the time of taking out this policy they could only refund a pro rated amount for the month of July. All together we are talking a total dispute of $104 dollars and they were dead set on enforcing their company policy and sticking it to me. I ended up having to fili a dispute with my credit card company and they agreed this was fraud and will investigate and credit me back my $104. I also filed a complaint with BBB, gave them a 1 star review on that site and a well deserved 1 star review here on Trust Pilot. I have never filed a claim, been a great customer for 4 years I find this amazing they could care less about retaining their clients. In truth I don't care about $100 it's pocket change but it's the principle and if Next can't even handle small miniscule issues how in the world can you trust them to handle a claim and this is why anyone reading this review needs to focus on the 1 star reviewsI came across on this site it was this or BBB's site, one business owner whos claim was denied because Next said he didn't finish the job. Well the owner ordered him to stop so go figure. As of July 24, I cancelled this policy and will never sign up with them again.
