My partner and I had a very negative experience with this service. We felt mistreated, and it left us questioning whether it was due to bias or simply a lack of care in handling our trademark. As first-time applicants, we were not informed about the implications of sharing our address publicly, which we provided without knowing it would be visible to everyone. The service failed to clarify this, resulting in an additional $150 charge on top of the initial $1,086 filing fee, with no way to have our address removed unless we faced serious threats. Our trademark application was ultimately denied because it was too similar to an existing one. After the denial, we were charged an additional $1,224 under false pretenses, claiming they needed fees to prove our usage of the name. Four months later, I learned that our trademark was deemed abandoned after receiving another invoice from a representative of the firm for examination and processing fees totaling $2,250. This experience felt discriminatory and negligent, and now they are unresponsive to my inquiries. I’m unsure what to do next.
