Review Time
I was able to watch the US feed of the Super Bowl via the DAZN app on my Samsung. Everything worked exactly as expected.
I will definitely buy next year's Super Bowl package.
I The broadcast was spectacular, everything went very well. I always enjoy watching football on Sundays; I really enjoy it. I think all the information they provide is fantastic, as is the overall broadcast. The only thing I don't like much anymore is what they've been doing lately with showing commercials in Spanish. Even though I live here in Spain, I really enjoy American commercials because they remind me of my years in the United States. That's one of the reasons I subscribe to the football channel. Otherwise, everything is great, I love it, please keep it up!
Everything work as expected. No problems whatsoever with the stream. If there was a theater mode where you could close the silly chat that they call fan zone and be able to expand the viewing area, it would have been even better.
Overall it was the best experience watching the season outside the US, in special the Super Bowl broadcast now including the original commercials. My only complain is that during the regular season, we had to have so many repetitive local ads during the game breaks.
It's great to be able to watch the Super Bowl with the full US broadcast, including ad breaks. However, there were a couple of DAZN ad breaks with all the over-familiar ads that I've been seeing all season (despite DAZN's claims that they will give you the US broadcast with ad breaks). I think that's because some of the ads are local and there's probably some rights reason. I'd prefer a holding screen in that scenario, rather than having to see the same ads hundreds of times a year.
There were a couple of glitches during the broadcast, although it's not clear if they were technical problems with DAZN or with the NBC feed.
On the whole, DAZN has been quite reliable this year.
The price is perfect; don't change it. I live in Europe so really I can only watch the early games. All streams were great. One change I would make is to put all other active game scores on the right side of the screen. Maybe this is an option already and I overlooked it.
The feed itself was perfect bar for a couple of glitches, but they did not bother the game. What I do not remember from earlier years was the NBC bluescreen at some ad breaks. I'm pretty sure that previous years had us able to watch the broadcast in it entirety with the yearly game pass subscription.
I am not a football fan, but as an American living abroad, I’m glad I could get this chance to experience the cultural event that is the Super Bowl instead of just reading about it after the fact. The ads! The halftime show! And you can replay it! I’ll definitely buy the Super Bowl pass again next year.
