I purchased my house last year which had a 6 year old NIBE electric boiler that has been nothing but trouble. They offer a maintenance plan at £21 a month but only to boilers less than 5 years old. This is pretty poor considering a lot of gas boilers include 10 year warranties. The prices for parts are ridiculous. These boilers are not designed for the UK market yet they have been installed in lots of electric only new builds and there are no straightforward replacement options.
