Mac is the man!! His knowledge, expertise, and above all..patience is second to none. I appreciated his thoroughness, focus on safety, and checking in with the members of the group for understanding. While teaching mountaineering is an incredible skill that Mac is unmatched in, his people skills are right up there with it. He made me and the group I was with feel empowered and strong while keeping it lighthearted, as Mac is great at cracking jokes.
