Noom Meds program was not a great experience for me.
I had signed up for Noom Meds in November, and I can’t begin to calculate the waste of time and money it has been.
After receiving my Medication, I almost immediately began all of the side effects (nausea, headaches, lethargy) on even the smallest dosage of the Semaglutide they put me on.
I initially lost weight in the first month and then plateaued and managed to actually gain weight in January.
In late January I was told by the MD though Noom, the best option for me would be to switch to a tirzepatide like Zepbound.
For this I needed to cancel my Noom Med subscription and re-sign up. I don’t understand why Noom couldn’t figure out how to switch meds with this much trouble.
After much back fourth I managed to get this cancel but with not much luck getting the shipment of medication that was 6 days out to cancel. They wound up sending me medication I could not use, and it needed to be thrown away. This was incredibly wasteful.
When it was time to get the Zepbound I had to pay for this separately to Lilly direct which was $304.00. Now I notice a subscription renewal for $317, this is unreal.
I would never recommend this to anyone unless you have money to burn.
It’s time to cancel. There are many other telehealth services out there that are much cheaper than this and you don’t have to waste time, energy and money with all the back & fourth.
