I liked their approach to weight-loss tracking but when I tried to cancel my Noom med prescription plan (because GLP-1s were making me really sick), it was very difficult. I could not change my account settings through the app or website (perhaps because of a bug due to creating my account with Google or perhaps because of bad practices). When I messaged through the app, they could not downgrade my plan despite acting like they could. When I called the helpline, they wanted to continue my plan for two more months, but I was concerned I would get charged $900 again (this may have been when my 1st quarter expired but I didn't trust their billing practices at least not the way they explained it on the phone), so I had them cancel my plan immediately. I wanted to keep the app for tracking, but they removed everything from my account (which I did not realize since I explained I wanted to continue with the app). I can create a new account to get access to the tracking app but I am concerned about canceling my account going forward. I hope they fix their billing practices. I would expect higher quality customer service from a medically focused company, especially since GLP-1s are expensive and can cause serious side effects so are not going to work for everyone. The customer service on the phone was very impatient and not thorough at all. I wanted to continue as a customer, but they definitely did not treat me as such.
