Not long ago, Nordea made a big fuss about how they have retracted their investments from companies that don't fulfill their ESG standards. Despite that it was documented that this was seemingly just lies to please loud mouthed NGOs, as one of these companies had indeed passed their requirements, Nordea stuck to their story.Same Nordea is, according to themselves, still invested in companies that contribute to Russian state finances and, based on their comments, their only concern is seemingly how this company (possibly one of multiple investments) will be affected by boikots - not whether this is an ethical investment. Sometimes it's better to have no standards at all than double standards!
