I've been wearing the long winter-weight or short winter-weight versions of these socks every day for about a year and am very pleased with them. I've recently tried the thin ankle-length 'summer' version and have found them be equally comfortable. They are also very economical on space when packing for a holiday.
These socks are a new favorite of mine with the comfort, thickness, breathability of wicking away moisture being just a few perks! The company created beautiful works of art with various colors and patterns as well. This is my second purchase.
I recently purchased the summer socks as I was such a fan of the winter socks I wanted to be able to wear them all year round. Although the patterns aren’t as nice as the winter ones I do still love them. Now that I have no more room in my sock drawer I’m going to order them and have them shipped to my daughter as a surprise. She’ll love them.
I have been wearing Nordic socks for a couple of years now. I am mostly a fan of wool socks, but I have my share of cotton.I use them in summer or winter, inside and outside the house. I love the colors and the feel on my feet. I absolutetely, recommend them.
The quality of these socks are very poor. First of all the sizes run very small, if you have big feet the largest size will barely fit. The knitting inside the socks appears to be very loose and flimsy. It's evident that it will not be long before they start breaking after putting them on and taking them off, they are NOT high quality socks. They have no connection whatsoever to high quality socks you'll find in Scandinavia. If you decide to return them it's at your own cost. They must be sent to Germany so expect at least half of your refund to go to sending them back at your own expense. They even warn you about wearing them outside, even on a quick trip. You'll have to be very careful with these and from personal experience I can tell you there will be holes on the heel and the sides after putting them on and taking them off. If i could attach a photo of the socks you would never buy them.
I recently purchased the cotton socks for warmer weather. Love the patterns & - as usual - the socks are very comfortable. My feet get cold easily so I appreciate the opportunity to wear Nordic socks in warmer weather. I always dry my better socks on top of the dryer instead of in the dryer & I will do the same with these. Great socks need great care.
Quite expensive for a low wool blend sock. Website was hard to manage the order on, so I had one set of five socks in the wrong size. The return process was AWFUL and in fact was never honoured . So i wound up out of pocket for a pair of socks AND return postage. Seriously terrible online purchase experience.
I love love these socks. Stain resistant. Dry Fast.Comfortable all day working outside. The Nordic Socks are a "HAVE TO HAVE IT" for me. No others will do for me. The new larger sizes are a true JOY! I would like to color select my most favs and have more REDS! Hand was every few days and good to go.
Nice patterns but poor value and quality. Fluffy, thick and warm socks initially, but they very quickly wear out on the heel or ball of your feet. Within 6 months they'd worn out, after complaining they offered us 20% on our next purchase but we'll buy our socks from a more reputable, traditional retailer from now on
