I have been a NordicTrack owner and Ifit subscriber since 2018. I have the s22i bike which has served me well. My first treadmill was the Commercial 2950 and I loved it, along with the Ifit experience. That's where the lovefest ends. In August 2024, I received a Commercial 2450 as a warranty replacement. I cannot emphasize just how loud this treadmill is at operating speed (84-87 decibels). The loud "jet engine" noise made by the motor is extremely loud, unpleasant and makes it nearly impossible to hear the trainer in the videos. This is not a bug but a normal feature as I have learned from other online complaints (See Reddit post, complete with videos, titled "New Commercial 2450 Treadmill loud as a commercial jet!"). I am currently in a back and forth with IFit to fix what is obviously a motor design problem. I have had 4 service visits to try and correct the issue. Each time requiring hours on the phone and requests for videos to demonstrate the problem. The motor has been replaced twice, the drive belt has been replaced, they've sent me two lube kits, and most recently, another diagnostic visit where I've been told "sorry this is normal!" Just today they have ordered yet "another" motor and front roller assembly. I just want this nightmare to be over; either provide a solution, admit you have sold a product with a known defect, provide an acceptable replacement, or refund the purchase price.
