I recently had my treadmill after 2 years of good normal service stop working.The electronic controller failed (150 euros). I asked for a replacement part and was told that I needed also the purchase a drive motor for an additional 250 euros … there is not technical reason for the replacement but Nordic track claim I am not allowed warranty on the replacement controller without purchasing the replacement drive motor. Additionally even though the replacement part is a simple plug and play they want to bring a service engineer on site to install for a second time (first time they didn’t bring spare parts). Even the engineer said this was not necessary but a consistent practice from NordicTrack While I was happy with the product, I feel the service department is extorting the client through additional unnecessary costs. Replacement part with instructions would have been 150€ but other parts and service person = 730€This practice does not lead to repeat and loyal customer base
