AAA Northeast is a SCAM

For two consecutive years, I contacted the service for a battery replacement on my supposedly new battery, which comes with a three-year warranty. Unfortunately, this turned out to be misleading. Previously, the cost for roadside assistance, including battery replacement, was under $20 a month, but now I've paid over $250 monthly. After using the battery replacement service due to a dead battery in the cold, the first battery failed within a year. A friendly technician replaced it, but I had to pay $250 to renew my membership, which I later learned was only for a month. I didn’t even get a membership card, so I don’t know my membership number. The technician expressed frustration over the low-quality batteries provided by the service. Less than a year later, my car won’t start again because that second replacement battery is also dead. I could have purchased a new battery for the same fees I paid, and now I'm left stranded again when temperatures drop. I refuse to pay $250 for just a month of membership to replace a battery that has a three-year warranty but only if I maintain active membership! The service should provide replacements for free or refund my membership fee. They are using substandard batteries and charging exorbitant fees; this is a scam! Avoid it!
