Unexpected power cut yesterday... Easily logged outage online. Promptly received email telling me an engineer would attend shortly. Before that happened, the power came back on. Telephoned Northern Powergrid as I didn't want to waste engineer's time attending my property and call was answered STRAIGHT AWAY! Received text update today explaining the number of properties affected and the reason for the outage. Absolutely faultless customer service in an age when most firms don't answer phones and want you to live chat with a useless robot. Well done Northern Powergrid, very impressed!
