Two sets of bifolds installed in 2021. Handle on one of them sheared off completely - no malfunction before, just the metal rod linking the two handles interior and exterior, completely snapped in two in normal use when closing, effectively locking us in from those doors. Exact same thing happened last month to a neighbour who had the same doors fitted at the same time. I called to activate the 10 year warranty I was told they came with. I'm told it does not apply to handles! Or indeed to 'any moving parts' - just the frames and glass. Their call out charge just to 'take a look' is £150. Just so customers know, if you are thinking of buying, the limit to the warranty they offer.
