The product works very well and is perfect for my needs. I believe those experiencing issues may not be mixing the product properly when dispensing from the bottle. While you can’t see it, my understanding is that the bottle contains two separate liquids that are dispensed simultaneously when you press the pump. These need to be thoroughly mixed between your palms before applying to your hair. This is similar to how most hair dyes work—combining two liquids, shaking them together, and then applying. However, Novahair’s system is more efficient because it dispenses only the amount you need, minimizing waste and making it much more cost-effective.You’ll get the same results as you would with traditional hair dyes, but supermarket products tend to result in much more waste, and you can’t do small touch-ups as needed. Novahair’s system makes touch-ups far more convenient. I used the dark brown, which turned out a bit too dark for me, so I’ll try the light brown next. I ordered directly from their Australian website (novahairaustralia.com), so I can’t comment on any issues with Amazon purchases.
