I engaged with Novela's Digital Marketing simulation during a competition.
As a student who has not worked in a digital marketing job yet, my only experience so far has been with digital marketing-related courses. This simulation allowed me to finally apply what I had been learning in school to real world social media scenarios. It made me have to consider the perspective of a digital marketer, what metrics are important to them, and how they view potential clients' personalities.
After doing the simulation, I feel that I have a better understanding of what working a real digital marketing job would be like.
I had an amazing experience with Novela. As a student I used the meta-ad simulation to learn new strategies and techniques behind marketing itself. The Good: - Learning how to use AI is an integral part of what makes this experience unique and stand out among competitors. - Appealing interface which is easy to learn without sacrificing complexity in strategies and decision making. - In depth simulation results: After each round, you're able to learn and adapt, making changes that continue to show students what to do better.Honestly there isn't anything bad to say about this simulation. The built in AI can be an amazing help or a huge burden if you prompt it incorrectly (Just like other LLMs). Overall, this is the best simulation for students who want to learn marketing skills that are applicable in today's businesses.
