I was initially made aware of these boots from watching the comparison video from DevonReviewer and tear down from rose angle on YouTube, I was really impressed with them over the Docs and went with a pair of gaucho crazy horse 8 eye derby boot. I’ve not been disappointed. Durability: (I’ve had them a yearish now)the leather has lasted a year so far with no cracking or thinning, (I’ve only polished 3 times in a year and wear them most days) the tread is holding up better than expected (I walk through trainers in a month, and docs in 6 months).The only real criticism for these for this price bracket of boot is better quality laces - mine frayed and snapped within 6 months. 4/5 starsComfort:Super comfy, I wear these instead of walking shoes, or trainers, my feet are boot shaped so there was no real break in or blisters, except for the tongue that took a bit of time to soften. No rubbing, no slipping, and the support from the shank is a welcome change to the docs. 5/5 starsService:Bought online, had no problems, fast delivery. 5/5 stars.Overall: 5/5 stars, it’s my go to walking boot. Is it as sturdy as a redwing? Nah, but for the price it’s at it’s the perfect gummy boot. I’m definitely coming back for another pair.
