However, the gym later changed the end date to nearly four weeks later, citing a new internal rule stating that the notice period only starts from the next billing cycle. This rule is the main issue, as it is not mentioned in their official Terms and Conditions. The T&C only require a minimum of 30 days' notice and do not specify when that notice should begin. The gym seems to prioritize an unpublished policy over their own legal T&C and the written confirmation previously provided.
