my MRXBOX95B-LP1 MVHR became noisy. After having it checked by a third-party engineer, I was told the motor bearing is worn. I then contacted Nuaire to ask for the motor model/detail so that I can find a replacement. Nuaire simply replied this MVHR model is obsolete and gave me a quote for ~£1500 for a new unit! While I don't expect Nuaire to tell me the bearing model, I'd expect they can at least provide the motor detail (which by the way, is a Torin-Sifan MIB190-045 EC motor) so that I can find one myself online.Nuaire’s recommendation to replace the entire ventilation system—at a cost of £1500+ (excluding labour)—simply due to a worn fan bearing, is not only financially unreasonable for customers but also reflects a troubling disregard for environmental sustainability. Encouraging the disposal of an otherwise functional system over a minor, repairable component is both wasteful and irresponsible. In a time when businesses should be championing repairability and resource conservation, it is disheartening to see a company of stature promoting such an unsustainable solution. I urge Nuaire to reconsider this practice and support more environmentally and customer-friendly options.FYI, I managed to simply replace one NSK 608Z bearing myself, which costs less than £3 plus my time
