My experience with NuRecover has been appalling. I canceled my order within hours, expecting a response within their stated 24 hours. Instead, I waited four days, only to be told it was too late to cancel because the order was “processed” already. Ironically, I didn’t receive confirmation of the order processing until six hours after that email. Which tells me they purposefully waited to respond to me until it was too late to cancel the order as requested. I then asked for a prepaid return label, and they told me to wait for delivery and provide proof. Only after I did that did they then inform me that I’d have to not only pay for return shipping but I’d also be responsible for a 20% restocking fee. They conveniently withheld this information until it was too late to refuse the package. For a company who has a “100 day moneyback guarantee” that seems like an awful lot of money the customer is losing if they choose to return - which leads me to believe they do this to deter people from actually returning. So shady. When I mentioned writing a review, they essentially told me there was nothing they could do. But when I posted on Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau, the company quickly responded, claiming they apologized & wanted to make things right. After providing the requested information, I of course heard nothing back. It’s clear their responses on public platforms are just for show so they don’t look as bad.Beware of this company; they have hundreds of similar reviews detailing horrific experiences. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs.UPDATE: it’s been weeks and I haven’t heard a peep from this company after they responded on here. So them reaching out to “make it right” is just as deceptive as the rest of their business practices.
