Reading the reviews on TrustPilot and I see a lot of recent 1-star reviews with Nurp responding saying they cannot verify the customer. These reviews are short, and have a high frequency from the last week and don't really offer a lot of guidance.
I already agreed to sign up, and while I'm skeptical, I thought I would offer my own experience live to be a worthwhile review for those considering this software.
First, lets talk about "why" I elected to move forward on this. There is a promotion with a partner broker that I'm also skeptical about, but they are committing to trade with borrowed funds at no cost for 3 months to experience the software, and I felt the ROI on that proposition when projected against the past returns shared was a "now or never offer" and worth trying out. So, I bit and as soon as I can get it live, I can report on it.
Additional details: I asked Nurp about their retention rate which they claim to be 92%, which is an extremely strong number. They claim this over 3500 active accounts. That means they should have about 305 unhappy customers. There are 661 reviews on this website and 23% of them are 1 or 2 star, which is about 150ish people. But, 16 of those bad reviews were this past week? It just seems fishy, and I felt people reviewing this algo deserve better guidance.
Setting Expectations: Nurp advertised about 1.72% returns per month with the Helios algo approved by the broker. It's the lowest risk, which is why they chose it. But, even at 1.72% per month on a 5X leveraged account the ROI on $20K would be $1720 per month. $1320 less their fees. That's about a 20 month ROI on the Capital in the account if you make withdrawals every month. If you bought a $500K house to rent out, and put $100K down, and paid another $12K in closing fees, and less than 2 years later you made all your money back off that property, every investor in the world would do it again.
I can't speak to what those offering negative reviews are seeking. But, if I get the money I put into this project back on that timeline, I'm going to be happy. It frankly sounds too good to be true, which means it probably is, but I want to be able to reference this review as a real time feedback on the performance. There are higher return options as well. Those come with more risk. I will try those out after getting my initial up front investment paid back.
Stay tuned. I will update along the way. Presently, I'm awaiting an EIN so this can be done from an LLC I opened last year, and Uncle Sam is slowing me down. But, once that hurdle is cleared, I will have commentary to share with how close to reality their promises are.
I believe in transparency. I'm hoping Nurp responds confirming me as a customer, so that as I update this along the way users have feedback from a review that they can legitimately trust versus much of what has been posted so far.
