I’ve tried various sources for near (or past) sell by date protein bars: direct from manufacturers, and sometimes from individuals on eBay, for example. This has varied levels of success: availability can be very limited, and sometimes products have been in quite poor condition.However, I’ve just started using Food Circle Supermarket. The products they have seem to vary, for obvious reasons, but they always seem to have something appropriate available. The pricing and deliveries are good, and the products arrive without looking as though they’ve spent the last six months wedged under the cushion of someone’s sofa. If you get through much of this stuff, they’re well worth a try. And you’ll be reducing food waste into the bargain.
