I have been driving and been insured for 28 years. This i by far the worst experience I've had.
They asked me for my V5C, I couldn't find it, I told them. They said I needed to contact the DVLA. They cancelled my policy anyway. Giving me 7 days notice. I informed them I had applied for a new V5C, and they said they would extend my cancellation period by 5 days, saying that if I had not received my V5C in time the policy would be cancelled. Today I received my V5C, and sent them it. A full 12 days before my policy was due to be cancelled. Only to find out the backdated the cancellation to 3 days prior!!
They should not allowed to be an insurance company.
