Arranged a pick up for my Mum who has fractured her pelvis. Appointment was at 3pm with 30 min journey.Text received at 1.41 to say they are on their way.Still not arrived at 2.20 so call and am told they are delayed and will be 10-15 mins and will confirm to hospital that we will be late.Still not arrived at 3.20 so call again and after 20 mins in queue I am told that they could not get here due to road closures and have aborted. No phone call or text was received to inform us and the only road that is closed in the area is in the country lanes.Absolute rubbish excuse and lies and they did not even have the decency to call us. Furthermore on calling the hospital we now have to wait a further 5 days for an urgent appointment and this ambulance service did not even call them as they promised.Tried to call to make a complaint and they only work until 2pm.Please avoid at all costs.
