Serious defects with seven out of twelve radiators and towel rails

I purchased radiators online from NWT Direct. All of the aluminium radiators leaked badly shortly after installation due to a welding fault in the manufacturing process. My brother-in-law also bought aluminium radiators from NWT which had the same problem. I also bought chrome towel rails from NWT which rusted badly within one month. Also one other radiator didn't work due to a circulation fault. I incurred significant additional plumbing costs to have them removed and replaced with alternative products. It is now four months since I reported the problem to NWT and they will not agree to refund the cost of returning the defective products to them by courier nor will they refund the additional plumbing costs or the cost of the valves. They initially promised me a refund without having to return the products after I sent them videos and photos of the defects but have since reneged on that agreement. They are emphasising in their emails that their terms of trading provide for the "replacement" of defective products. Replacement products are no use to me now that I have purchased radiators from another company relying on NWT's promise of a refund. They now say that they want me to return the defective products to them by courier at my expense for them to examine them and then make a decision on a refund. They're leaving open the possibility of a refusal of a refund after I have returned the products in circumstances where I purchased replacement products from another company relying on their previous agreement to give a refund which they are now refusing to honour. My new radiators don't match the remaining NWT radiators so I have to replace those at my own expense too. It is now four months since I reported the defects to NWT and there is no resolution to the problem. They are trying to offer me replacement radiators which they know I have no use for because I have already installed replacements. I've been left with no option but to instruct a solicitor to deal with them. Overall, this has been a nightmare experience with no resolution in sight and seven defective radiators and towel rails still being stored in my home.
