After taking out a three-year contract, I visited a local branch to upgrade. I was informed there was a small crack in the bottom of the screen, which I hadn’t noticed. I was advised to replace the screen or I would only receive a much lower offer. Following this advice, I spent £80 on a new screen. However, after sending my phone for recycling, I was told it had screen burn and they could only offer the lower amount. I had checked the screen after the replacement, and it was in perfect condition. This feels like a scam, so I have rejected their offer and will sell it elsewhere.
