We did the desert safari experience in Dubai. This is the biggest tourist scam ever. Advertised as super luxurious, paid way above the average price to get that premium experience, instead — faced incredible disappointment.At every stop possible, they are trying to sell you something by pushing their products. The quads are not even included in the price, and when you pay for them — you are allowed to ride only in a fenced territory like kids in kindergarten. In order to go further, the price goes up several times. We asked to do the real dune bashing for 5 minutes and then take it mild. Instead, our driver did it for 5 minutes and totally skipped the rest, including the sandboarding experience.The Al Khayma camp doesn't look like it is shown in the pictures, so you do not receive what you pay for. It is literally next to the city, surrounded by artificially made dunes to make it feel like a desert. The shisha is one of the worst I have ever tried — you smoke pure coal, so it is an extremely bad representation of it. The only good part was the food — cannot say a bad thing about it; it was delicious, and there was a variety of it.Overall, it is not worth it — try finding a better option.
