I booked this safari via Viator here from the UK. Our guide Mansoor Manz was great, polite and knowledgeable. Upon leaving the main road going towards the camp the amount of litter particularly disregarded plastic was a concern. On our activities at Alkhayma Camp lots of activities went amiss such belly dancing and unlimited Shisha.On the subject of feeding the camels 🐪 (dromedaries) they had no available water and they were looking for my bottle of water that I was carrying on and they drunk it all 1.5 litres. On the subject of the cats they were feed in front of us for the show - in my opinion.They were all under weight and I have asked staff to look after a particular one that had a kitten looking very ill and the mother was injured.Not a good experience particularly if you are an animal lover as I am. The best show was from the telescope man where you could appreciatesome planets. The falcons appeared loved by their owners which was great to see.This was my dream trip thinking that the desert was loved and respected by their people…the cats Mohamed’s beings as their carry on the ‘M’ in their forehead.Certainly a figment of my imagination
