They use Yodel - Don't bother

Won't be using again for the sheer fact they use Yodel!**28th Oct - returning them! Delivery occurred without notification on Saturday - Yodel take no responsibility for the damaged box that's no longer in a presentable condition - these were supposed to be double boxed! Offspring clearly aren't bothered either. Sick of dealing with them both. They're going back! Wish I'd never bothered (and no, I'm not emailing yet another department, I'm sick of being passed around & back and fourth as it is). ***Update 25th Oct - after being told (by both sides) it's at the depot I drove over an hour each way only to find it's not there!!! An utter joke. Why would I even want them after this!!*****Update 22/Oct: yet more confusion! Yodel Cs say its at their Depot (for the next 7 days) Offspring say it's on its way back to them. Yodel tracking says"We have it',manage your delivery preferences" which I did days ago!! What an utter mess. Not a single apology from either so far!***Once Yodel get involved they'll only add to your confusion.. Basically Offspring expect you to take days off work just to be able to get the parcel, all whilst Yodel emails you with options to adjust delivery preferences that will only be ignored because Offspring want you to be home and nothing else!First delivery attempt was on a Friday, on the missed delivery email Yodel claim they would deliver the following day - Saturday - but oh no, that would make too much sense (we were in all day)! Instead they'll return on Monday when you're unlikely to be in again.When you sign up as directed by their email you won't be able to find your parcel as it'll say "no parcel is connected with this email" despite you using the same one..Despite the email saying you can collect from a locker, you can't..If you download the app as suggested thinking it will offer more options don't bother - ALL SEVEN options from Delivery to a Locker, A neighbour, A safe place etc etc are ALL unavailable thanks to Offsprings need for everyone to be home for a simple pair of trainers!?!Despite changing your delivery preferences with your profile on Yodel they'll be ignored..The missed delivery card will have no contact details on despite it saying "unless I hear from you today.." (How, by carrier pigeon!?)Leaving a note further reiterating your delivery preferences (a box inside a safe place away from view) it will also be ignored..You'll then be forced to collect from your "local depot" which they can't be bothered to write on the card, so you'll have to contact their CS that can't help you other than parroting you'll need to collect it - that I know now to be over 30 mile round trip!! You'll also get no apologies for the confusing emails allowing you to believe you can actually set preferences to get your parcel when in fact it's a generic, unhelpful email with useless info just to further waste your time, just like waiting in on a Saturday -ZERO care from Yodel, 0 apologies.Why are you using them and accepting this sloppy service thinking it's acceptable for your customers!???Until you stop using the countries worst courier company & give no opportunities to get your parcel other than take days off because of your "open door delivery only" requirement I won't bother again!?!?! It's ruining your customers experience with you and replying with a standard 'email us' response simply isn't good enough. So I for one wont bother again, my first and lasting impression is that it's not worth the agro!
