I have placed an order for the NMD Primeknit in Tricolor Black on 26 December 2016, exactly at the time when it was released for sale (as I have waited for the countdown timer to expire). The website has a mechanism where "After selecting your size you will be placed in a queue for 1 minute whilst stock is added to your bag, after which you can continue to checkout". I believe that with this mechanism in place, customers who are able to add and checkout the item in the cart should be able to secure the shoes thereafter. And I received the order confirmation 5 minutes later, at 5.05pm Singapore time. After making the purchase, I repeatedly refreshed checked the website multiple times over a period of few hours and noted that the shoes in my size was still in-stock. Thus, this meant that the shoes was not exactly in huge demand. However, I received an email from Offspring today on 1 January 2017 notifying me that my order has been cancelled due to limited stock availability. This came as a huge surprise to me as the shoes did not sold out immediately, and I was able to place the order. Therefore, I feel that this experience is utterly ridiculous as if there is not enough stocks to go around, then the website should be updated to prevent more customers from purchasing. In addition, why implement the 1-minute add-to-cart mechanism when it serves no beneficial purposes at all?In addition, my emails and Facebook message were not responded to at all.I do not know the real reason behind the cancellation of my order but I feel that Offspring seriously needs to start looking into improving their operations so as to have more loyal and returning customers in future.I am left with no other alternate options to purchase this shoes from other retailers now since the shoes have sold out.My trust in Offspring has totally gone down the drain.WARNING: To other customers, please think twice with deep considerations before deciding to order from the website as I see the inconsistency in getting your order delivered eventually (just look at other reviews on Trustpilot).
