Update: I'm getting a full refund, and the table will be collected next week. They are providing boxes for packaging. Since my last update, they offered a replacement, but I requested a refund because they won’t send a new table without getting the old one first, leaving me without a table for weeks. I ordered a solid wood coffee table in August, and it was delivered a month later, but now, two months in, the wood has warped significantly. There’s actual movement, splitting, and cupping on the tabletop. For a table only two months old, this is unacceptable. I suspect it was rushed in production. The company stated that the issues are likely due to seasonal temperature changes, but it’s been two weeks since I contacted them, and there’s still no resolution. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and durable. The table itself is beautiful, but the customer service has been lacking, leading me to consider other businesses for future purchases.
