Unfortunately, we had an awful experience with Ogilvie Homes. We reserved our property and spoke with a staff member that day. She phoned us back later that week to advise of costs of factoring (not a lot but still a hidden cost). We then were called in to complete our choices - had we read the small print of our reservation document, we would have known you don’t pay for these until missives are signed. Excitement took over and we paid for them after the staff member advised we would be delayed if we didn’t. The sale on our house fell through, Ogilvie gave us an inachievable date to conclude missives with them. No willingness to have discussions, just allowed someone to reserve our home. Their work encompasses no compassion. As soon as you reserve, your a number. We are pretty certain that Ogilvie took our house from us because they had hiked the prices up of that house type and sold others. The sales agent even told us “they had been flying out the door”. I would really discourage you from using Ogilvie homes. You’ll see a trend of negative, useless customer service should you read more reviews.
