From speaking with John McEwan to his colleague coming over to install my EV charger, the process has been seamless and quick. I was kept informed of every part of the process. Would absolutely recommend.
After an initial email enquiry John from Sales called me. He was so nice and easy to chat to. We talked through options then I ordered the charger. I got a call the day before the installation to confirm it would be done the following day. David arrived very promptly and fitted the charger how we wanted it. A couple of hours and it was all done.I'd highly recommend OHMS Renewables, I found them to be prompt, polite, helpful, very professional and honestly one of the easiest purchases I've made. 5* from me.
Great companyOhms installed my original 6 panels and inverter 2 years ago and the guys were excellant, every one. This time I had to get the panels taken off to have a new roof put on and the company were brilliant. I don't think I could have gotten a better service anywhere else. Nicole in the office is a really good lass, always so helpful and cheerful. They took the panels off and put them, and an additional 6 back on with no hassles whatsoever. They only had 2 days notice of the roof being finished and that was just before christmas but still managed to accommodate me. The guys fitting the inverter are all polite and respectful, I couldn't ask for better
We were looking to install solar panels and batteries . We contacted 3 different suppliers. After initial phone call Ohms emailed a detailed document outlining the costs and potential savings. John in the sales department was very helpful and organised a visit by the tech team first ( the other suppliers sent sales people first). After confirming the complete spec and cost, installation was arranged. The team arrived on time and both the roof team and electrician worked hard all day and were very pleasant , listening to any concerns we had. They were very tidy and tidied up before they left.Slight glitch on start up but quickly resolved by Ohms. Overall , very happy with the experience and would highly recommend Ohms
We'd heard stories about other companies out there offering to install renewable systems but who didn't deliver. OHMS not only delivered, but delivered over and above anything we could have hoped for! From the first contact we had with Scott Tennant, OHMS Head Surveyor, he was super helpful, full of honest information and support. We were helped through the ECO4 application process, kept fully informed at all stages, had an independent assessor come out to inspect the property and our circumstances. We were delighted to find we did qualify. Whilst things moved fast from that point, again we were kept fully up-to-date with what to expect. All the trades in the installation team who worked on our property were outstanding, each one worked efficiently, with skill, were super friendly and treated us, our property and neighbour's property with respect. 2 days later we had 10 solar panels, an air source heat pump, a water tank/boiler, new radiators throughout the house and our loft insulated...and another few hours later the tank was beautifully boxed in by a bespoke floor to ceiling cupboard. We have had work done before and never had such a high standard of workmanship or cleanliness - including removing all the rubbish and packaging from in and around the house. We cannot recommend OMHS and their workforce highly enough. The company has a load of genuine, relevant accreditations which we checked out beforehand, including MCS Certified and Net Zero Scotland/Scottish Government. Huge thanks to everyone who made the transition to greener energy and a warmer home such an easy process.
The Ohms team smashed it.The team has just packed up their tools and headed of to their next engagement.Nobody enjoys having their fortress of solitude invaded, but the Ohms team were capable, diligent and conscientious, keeping the disruption to an absolute mnimum.My roof is capturing energy from the fiery ball in the sky, my heat pump is whisper quiet, and my house has never been warmer.Special thanks to: Jimmy and Ross who swarmed over my roof like moutain goats, assembling my solar array in an impossibly short period of time.Alan and Jamie for putting everything back together. The roofers who fitted the panels and the electricians who fitted the battery and connected it all up were extremely efficient and very tidy. I received good support from the folk at head office when I had any questions in the run up to the installation. I was very satisfied with the whole process.
