Review Time
I had a replacement back door and patio doors. The work was carried out to a high standard, the house was left clean and tidy and the guys were very accommodating with my two dogs. The only slight niggle was they were late on the first day, other than that it was excellent service. If I needed any further work done, I would not hesitate to use them again.
We have recently had a sunroom fitted by Dunraven. After seeing work at a neighbouring property we decided to take the plunge.
The salesman Anthony was very attentive and helpful. Initially we agreed to have the work done in the winter months and were told that once the build started it would take 6 to 8 weeks to complete due to potential weather situations. In spite of this the whole thing was completed in less than 4 weeks.
The work is to a high standard, all overseen by Gareth Lewis, whose attention to detail is second to none. A shout out to brick layer and ground works Richard tinney and Brad,
fitters Chris and Matt, Connor and Jaye , plasterers Chris and Adrian
sparks Ross and Lewis (and Jakob), carpenters Gareth and Paul and finally James and Harley and Harvey's brother who sorted out the externals at the end. Last of all Nigel who came to do the snagging, and give it a final polish.
Despite atrocious weather, cold and rain, and a gale the work was completed seamlessly and to a high standard. We cannot praise everybody involved enough.
Once the build started we felt completely in the loop about what was going to happen each day. This was mainly down to Gareth, who kept his finger on the pulse.
We will probably never need another sun room, but I would have no hesitation in using Dunraven again. We would be completely confident in recommending them to family and friends as a great company to get work done.
The installation team of two professionals has just finished putting in 7 windows and a new front door for the house. The work was executed to an excellent standard, and both individuals were professional and respectful throughout the process. The entire team involved (sales, surveyors, office, and installation) has been outstanding from beginning to end. We will definitely be recommending this service to family, friends, and neighbors. The installation was carried out swiftly and with professionalism. However, I've had to request multiple visits to address problems with faulty windows that won’t open. One technician suggested that I should wiggle the handle to get them to work. I had these installed between February and May of this year, and I shouldn't have to struggle to open them. Additionally, I have weakened wrists due to age and injuries, and currently, I can only open 4 out of 8 windows.
I would suggest this service to anyone. They were exceptional in resolving an issue with a bedroom window. Their service, from ordering to installation and aftercare, was truly remarkable. Even though they are based in a different area, they are more than willing to travel, making it clear that no request is too much trouble.
This company was a pleasure to work with. There were minor issues with the initial appointment being postponed due to broken glass, but communication was excellent and the turnaround to complete the job was quick—only a few days! The fitter arrived and did a superb job, leaving no damage to any walls, so no extra decorating was needed. Everything was left very tidy! I am very happy with the final result and will definitely use this service again if needed.
I recently had a large gable end extension completed and I am extremely happy with the results and the work done by the team. The builders were respectful and provided excellent customer service throughout the project. The project manager was proactive and resolved any issues by the next day.
We recently had a conservatory roof replaced. The initial quotes and organization went smoothly, but the quality of the work was lacking. The brickwork was uneven and poorly aligned, and although a discount was offered, we would have preferred a job done correctly. The flashing was messy and could not be improved despite attempts to fix it. It took numerous phone calls to finally get the correct-sized gutter installed. The experience seems to vary based on which tradesmen are assigned, and we ended up with a job that is just acceptable, although the brickwork will always look subpar.
We hired this service to supply and install a conservatory in our backyard. The work was completed within the promised timeframe, and everything went smoothly from the arrival of the team to the final inspection. The contractors were diligent and hardworking. Based on our experience, we would recommend this service.
