I bought a bracelet for my mum’s 60th birthday, expecting it to be a special gift. Unfortunately, the whole experience has been hugely disappointing.Delivery was slower than advertised, though it did arrive just in time, so I overlooked that. However, the real issue is the quality. Despite being sold as silver, within just a few weeks, it tarnished. The bracelet developed grey patches where the silver had worn away.I contacted customer service, which was ignored. Other than receiving an automated acknowledgement of receipt, I heard nothing further. My mum then followed up herself, only to be met with rudeness and unprofessional responses. She was told, patronisingly, that she shouldn’t have worn the bracelet so often, comparing it to “not always wearing your best pair of shoes”, and was flatly told the bracelet couldn’t tarnish, despite clear photographic evidence to the contrary.Not only was a replacement refused, but the dismissive and insulting attitude added to the frustration. What should have been a meaningful gift has turned into an embarrassing waste of money.The product quality is poor, the customer service appalling, and the advertising of a good quality silver misleading. At the very least, I expect a replacement to resolve this situation.
