This is a reply I had following a failure of the floating table hangers. These hangers have a plastic section which is used to apply the tension. This has failed, however they are stating it’s the wall’s fault. The wall is complete and still has the securing bolts. I will not be taking this case via the small claims court.“ We have re-analyzed your photo and have concluded that you apparently did not determine the type of wall before installation. You were obligated to verify that the provided fixings were suitable for this type of wood panel. It is clear that the wall was not suitable to support the furniture. It was the wall that gave way under the weight of the furniture, not the furniture itself that was defective. Furthermore, your photo shows drawers that are far too full!”
