The idea of supporting farmers and olive production is amazing!However, customer support needs serious improvement.Inspired by the adoption concept, I decided to adopt one olive tree and give it as a gift. The dedication text for the beneficiary was written in my native language. In the confirmation, the text appeared correctly. Nevertheless, the certificate was issued with misspelled characters from my mother tongue. I asked for help to correct this, but after several emails with Olivami, I had to agree to a text that was not fully corrected.In addition, I requested that the donation date be changed. Although this was promised, it was never implemented.This puts other contractual terms into question. Firstly, I could not find any information on Olivami’s website about the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase, which is mandatory for online purchases. Secondly, the oil shipping fees were not listed during the ordering process, and they are very expensive compared to the adoption fee. Moreover, in the second year the adoption fee increases due to the shipping costs. It was not clearly explained prior to payment that I could not opt out of oil delivery in the second year. I only agreed to the adoption and one oil delivery within the first three years of adoption, as stated on Olivami’s website.In the end, this great idea was spoiled by the lack of proper customer service from Olivami
