Easy to order from. I have previously ordered an Olive Tree for my husband and the experience from ordering the tree to visiting the tree in Puglia to picking up our olive oil was great.
I ordered a tree for my brother in law who loves Italy but sadly is very ill and will never return there. He was very touched at the gesture to know his tree is growing in Puglia. From a Canadian who loves Italy.
The idea of supporting farmers and olive production is amazing!However, customer support needs serious improvement.Inspired by the adoption concept, I decided to adopt one olive tree and give it as a gift. The dedication text for the beneficiary was written in my native language. In the confirmation, the text appeared correctly. Nevertheless, the certificate was issued with misspelled characters from my mother tongue. I asked for help to correct this, but after several emails with Olivami, I had to agree to a text that was not fully corrected.In addition, I requested that the donation date be changed. Although this was promised, it was never implemented.This puts other contractual terms into question. Firstly, I could not find any information on Olivami’s website about the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase, which is mandatory for online purchases. Secondly, the oil shipping fees were not listed during the ordering process, and they are very expensive compared to the adoption fee. Moreover, in the second year the adoption fee increases due to the shipping costs. It was not clearly explained prior to payment that I could not opt out of oil delivery in the second year. I only agreed to the adoption and one oil delivery within the first three years of adoption, as stated on Olivami’s website.In the end, this great idea was spoiled by the lack of proper customer service from Olivami
Wonderful initiative to restore the green of Salento and helping small farmers! I am from Romania and I adopted an olive tree, a tiny bond with Italy, a country I adore, whose language I adore, in memory of an italian artist I appreciate so much and who's name the tree will bear.The oil I received is just amazing, marvellously tasting, a rich consistency with a freshness and a bitter note to it, nothing I ever tasted before! If I could give it a 10 star, I would. I received it two weeks after the adoption and I can't wait to get the location of my olive tree and maybe see it someday!

Received my can of lovely Italian oil today. I was happy to adopt a tree after all those really old olive trees died ...and its brought back fantastic memories of a great holiday in the region. Unfortunately my can of oil was dented in several places . I emailed and I received a lovely email from Roberta apogising and assuring me that they always pay great attention to packaging: they use reinforced packaging and bubble wrap to best protect the cans during transport. So whether this happened at packing or in transit I give them the benefit of the doubt and their oil is lovely 😍 so all is good on that front.
I like your initiative a lot. Nice that we can support the farmers in Italy. We love to go to Italy on holiday and by supporting your initiative we can give something back. One remark though;The website is English which is great, however all your emails are in the Italian language. So I need to translate them manually, it would increase the user experience when you would also send the mail in EnglishKeep up the good work!
