I’m extremely disappointed with my experience attempting to delete my account with Olivela. Despite submitting multiple requests through both the app and their support email address in March and July 2025, the company failed to honor my deletion request under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).Their account deletion page states that account deletion will be completed within 7 days and that someone will reach out to verify my identity—neither of which happened. The only response I received was from someone named Mindi, who simply informed me that I had been unsubscribed from email list. This was not what I requested. The California Attorney General should look into Olivela’s privacy and data protection practices, as this lack of responsiveness raises serious concerns about how user data is handled.I would not recommend Olivela to anyone who values transparency or control over their personal information.
